An Overview of the Power Bank

An Overview of the Power Bank

By Shalini Madhav

Power banks have become an important lifeline today. The modern phones as we know them have become so powerful and this is true with each launch. The consumption of power has also increased. Companies add features and there are so many apps that will use up your power. This takes a toll on the battery too. There are some features that actually use your power even when the phone is not being used. With this in mind, a private charger is a very important thing in our lives today.

Even with the demands that are made on our phones on a daily basis and the battery requirements, most phone companies keep on going for the slimmer smartphones. This is a race that has caught most companies today. If you are traveling, you will have to deal with some much power issues, especially if you cannot get a power outlet. Portable batteries are slowly bringing back sanity to the society.

What they are

A portable battery is not a smartphone power supply that is endless. This is basically a storage device for power. It has batteries that can be recharged over and over again. It can have one battery or up to eight batteries at a time. This means that you can carry your own power with you wherever you go and stay connected at all times. Remember to replenish the batteries of the portable gadget as soon as you get a chance to.

Important tips

Phones have become a great part of life and as such, a portable battery is an important addition. You need to research well before making the purchase or you may end up disappointed.

Capacity

You will have to consider the capacity of the portable battery. This is an aspect that is very important for the battery. It is important to consider the capacity that you need so as to find a basis on which to start the search.

The first thing to do is to check the smartphone battery capacity. If it is for primary use, then you should consider two times the capacity of the battery. This means that you can use it to recharge at least twice.

Power output and USB ports

When you have a portable battery that has more USB ports, it means that you can charge your devices at the same time if you have many. You should also consider how fast you would be able to charge as this is a feature that is very important. Ensure that the cable is compatible with this.

You should choose the number of parts based on the use you intend for them. If you just have a single phone, then a single USB should be enough.

Portability

This one goes without saying. Portability is very important. Having additional power is an amazing thing and it should be easy to carry around or it beats logic. Smaller capacities are usually smaller in size. You should never buy a portable battery that proves difficult to carry with you. It should be of a high quality too, regardless of the size and should be able to serve the purpose that it is meant for. Power bank review allows you to learn more about Powerbanks and evaluate your needs. This could be the only thing that helps you deal with low battery situations and keep you connected with the world at all times.

Relationships: What Is The Difference Between A Man Who Hates Women And A Man Who Hates Men?

Relationships: What Is The Difference Between A Man Who Hates Women And A Man Who Hates Men?

By Oliver JR Cooper

What might not surprise someone is that some men hate women, yet what might surprise them is that there are some men who hate men. It might be hard for them to accept this, especially as they are men themselves.

A Different Response

Then again, this might be something that they are only too aware of, meaning that it is not going to be hard for them to accept this. If man does hate women, he is likely to receive a lot negative feedback from others.

Yet, if a man hates men, he is likely to receive a fair amount of positive feedback from people. The reason for this is that it is not uncommon for men to be portrayed in a negative manner, making it acceptable to put them down.

The Oppressed Gender

Women, on the other hand, are often seen as being victims, and this is why they deserve to receive special treatment. But even though they are often portrayed as victims, they are also seen as being 'empowered'.

The average person is likely to find this confusing, with it being hard for them to understand how women can be empowered and victims. In reality they are either going to be victims or they will be empowered human beings, they can't be both.

Only Too Clear

If a woman is truly in touch with her own inner strength, it is highly unlikely that she would see other women or herself as a victim. So, even if there are moments when she is victimised, she won't allow this to define how she sees herself.

And through being this way, she is also likely to see that there are going to be moments when men are victimised, too. It is then not as if men have it easy and women suffer; they will see that life is not this black and white.

Self-Aware

When a woman has this outlook, it could be said that she is self-aware and that she has the ability to reflect. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for a lot of the women who are given a platform in today's world.

If the world is to change for the better, what is needed is for people to take responsibility for their own life and not to blame others. It is easy to blame men for all the problems in the world, but what does this do apart from create even more division?

Two Ways

With that aside, if a man does hate women he is unlikely to be a 'feminist'; whereas if a man hates men, there is the chance that he will be. Nevertheless, if man does become a feminist, it doesn't mean that he will be accepted by this movement.

There are going to be a number of women who say that he is no better than any other man. He could then feel as though he doesn't belong, which could cause him to experience a lot of pain.

The Cause

When it comes to the man who hates woman, it could be said that this shows that he has had a number of bad experiences with them. But when a man hates other men, it can be harder to come up with a reason as to why he would feel this way.

After all, he is man himself. One way of looking at this would be to say that he has been treated badly by other men throughout his life, and this is what set him up to hate men.

Two Personalities

If a man hates women, he could come across as stoic and confident; he could be popular and certain people could even describe his as an 'alpha man'. And even though he doesn't like women, it doesn't mean that they won't be attracted to him.

But if a man hates men, he could come across as emotional and be anything but confident. He could be described as a nice guy and find it incredibly difficult to attract women.

Going Deeper

When it comes to how these two men behave in their adult life, there the chance that their childhood years had a big effect. Regardless of whether a man hates women or hates men, they may have grown up without a father, or a father who wasn't emotionally available.

In addition to this, they may have had a mother who was emotionally unavailable and smothering at the same time. Naturally, this would have had a negative effect on their ability to develop into an autonomous human being.

Two Options

These early years probably would have caused them to experience shame and it wouldn't have been possible for them to develop strong boundaries. Furthermore, their father wouldn't have been around to affirm their value or to guide them.

The man who hates women will have disconnected from this shame and their emotions in general, and he would have directed his anger towards his mother and, as time passed, this would have ended up being directed towards all women. If he was to get in touch with his feelings, he may find that the also hates his father, and the reason why this hasn't taken place can be because he fears his father.

The Other Side

When it comes to the man who hates other men, he will have stayed connected to this shame and directed his anger towards his father. And as the years passed, this anger would end up being directed towards all men.

Due to the experience he had with his mother as a child, he is likely to be fearful of her, and this is why he can't face up to the fact that he also hates his mother. One man has the need to protect their father, while the other has the need to protect their mother.

Awareness

What this emphasises is how important both the mother and father is when it comes to childhood development. When one parent is missing, it can lead to all kinds of problems, problems that can take years to deal with when someone is adult - that's if they are even dealt with.

If man can relate to this, and he wants to let go of the pain that is within him, it might be a good idea for him to reach out for external support. This can take place with the assistance of a therapist or a healer.

Tips For Making It Clear What Your Boundaries Are

Tips For Making It Clear What Your Boundaries Are

By Rosina S Khan

You need to draw in your boundaries before you can set forth your day. Why are they necessary? How would it benefit? Read on to find out.

For example, If I am on a night out far away from home, I wouldn't overdo anything in spite of my freedom. I wouldn't start smoking, drinking and get allured to drugs. I have full self-control and self-discipline to avoid these things and still make my day. I drive safe back home.

As another instance, if I am married, I will back up and stay with my husband 100%. There is no meaning in looking around and flirting with other guys, putting my relationship at stake.

If my friends come up with an idea to a distant place for sight-seeing and tourism, I wouldn't just jump at the idea. I would do some research on the place they are planning to visit. If I am happy, I will accept their invitation.

If someone criticizes me at work, I wouldn't backfire. I would try to take it easy and see the matter from his point of view. More likely, I will learn something here. If I find it to be destructive, I would start to outdistance and eventually stop communicating with him for my peace of mind.

If I have children and they are being naughty, driving me nuts, I would take control of the situation, calm them down and make them busy at playing with clay, dolls, cars or even coloring and painting.

If I make mistakes at home or work with any of my tasks, I know I have been taking it too serious and I find a way to liberate myself, by laughing over myself.

If someone says something wonderful about my get up or accessories, naturally I feel good about myself and I find a way to repay it some other time in an elegant way so that a wonderful friendship strikes.

If at a shopping center, I see gloomy and tired people at checkout counters, I feel sorry for them. As if putting myself in their shoes, I understand how boring and hard it is for them. I do not overdo anything but leave them with a smile. A smile can do wonders, you know.

These are some of the boundaries I would set for myself to keep myself cool and steady, going happily about my day. How would you like to put in your boundaries for the greater good of yourself and loved ones?

Fields of Barley

Fields of Barley

By Dale Phillip

Barley, which is a member of the grass family, was one of the first cultivated grains, primarily in Eurasia and Israel, dating back 10,000 years. It lends itself to temperate climates and numerous soils, is hearty and versatile. There are literally hundreds of varieties flourishing worldwide. The first records and archeological digs have unearthed wild barley growing along the Sea of Galilee, as well as along the Nile River in Egypt. But not confined to just several regions, it was also found in early U.K countries, particularly Scotland. Besides comprising a major staple food for much of the populace, it was also used to make early ale and beer, providing malt as well as fermented grain, which was traditionally drunk at meals, including breakfast. After it was surpassed by wheat cultivation, it remained a practical and available grain for peasants, made mostly into porridge, bread and soup. Domesticated livestock were fed a diet of barley when grazing land was limited. Easily stored and combined with other foods, it helped feed mobile armies throughout history.

In the 15th century, barley comprised the sole grain used to brew beer throughout the Holy Roman Empire, which included beer-loving countries like Germany and the Czech country of Bohemia. Along with its cousin rye, these two popular grains were ground into flour and cereal to feed the poor masses. Once wheat was domesticated, the upper classes eschewed barley as peasant food and embraced wheat as their major grain. (Because of barley's nutritional value, the peasants probably outlived the upper classes by many years.) In ancient Greece and Rome, bread was made from ground barley flour and became a staple for athletes. Its fiber content and nutritional value were highly prized.

In Ireland and Scotland, beer and scotch whisky are still made primarily with barley. In the U.K. barley wine (which is actually a strong ale) has been a popular English drink for centuries. And during the 1500s, a popular British folk song immortalized a character named John Barleycorn, presumably sung loudly in numerous pubs and taverns, praising the grain and its contribution to popular libations. In 1993, the popular British singer Sting wrote and recorded a haunting ballad called "Fields of Gold" which seems to immortalize this thriving crop. In the U.S. Jack Daniel's whiskey, the largest selling brand, is made with corn, rye, and malted barley. (note the different spelling of whisky, which is Scottish, and whiskey, which is American.)

Not to be written off as just another starch, centuries ago barley water and tea were often used for medicinal cures, and modern medicine recognizes the grain's ability to help regulate glucose levels for diabetes, provide excellent high fiber and cardio benefits as well. In the U.S., northern states grow the majority of America's crop, primarily Montana, Idaho and North Dakota, of which 25% is used for malting, 50% for animal feed. It is also a popular grain used in coffee substitutes. Worldwide production tops 144 million tons annually, with Russian the major producer of barley, France and Germany a distant second and third. Pearl barley is what most Americans recognize, added to soups and sometimes eaten as a grain instead of rice. Barley flakes make a hearty hot cereal, and barley flour can be mixed with wheat for a full-bodied bread or muffin.

Needless to say, like most grains, barley has been domesticated, cultivated and refined over the centuries to produce far more friendly crops and more uses than its ancient ancestor. Unfortunately, barley is not gluten-free and should be avoided by those with allergies. But for everyone else, a daily helping in some form can be highly beneficial. Consider tossing it into a variety of dishes, kneading it into dough, adding it to salads (cooked of course) and as an all-around grain to add fiber and nutrition to your menus. Barley may not be glamorous, but it sure packs a wallop nutritionally.

Author Dale Phillip enjoys researching different foods and their histories. Growing up in the Midwest, her family frequently enjoyed soups with pearl barley added, but she gleaned a lot from her findings about this versatile grain. As an avid baker, she has started adding flakes to her muffin recipes and using cooked pearl barley instead of rice. Dale invites you to visit her many articles on the history of Food and Drink, and her blog: http://myfriendlyu.blogspot.com/

Is It Right to Drink Bottled Water?

Is It Right to Drink Bottled Water?

By Sonali Sharma

People use the water fountain instead of using bottled water

Drinking bottled water has become a part of our mobile life. Where ever we go, we have to consume it, but do you know the health impact of the liquid what we consume bottled. Many of the research scholars have questioned the prevalence of this sealed packaged bottled water. It has also been seen in elite countries especially in the USA, people offer water fountain instead of offering bottled water.

Avoid bottled liquid as much as you can

People will rarely tend to avoid drinking bottled liquid because the other sources such as ground water are saline and that of tap do not bear hygienic quality, and it is not feasible to use RO everywhere. Besides seeing difficulties in accessibility to the fresh hygienic water experts and researchers are suggesting to avoid the consumptions of this bottled liquid as much as possible.

The quality of bottled liquid is under the scanner

Many companies' quotes, they are presenting water directly from the fresh natural sources to our location in pristine form. But how much that liquid remains pristine is under the scanner. Many other companies say they purify the ground water and convert them to a hygienic form using UV rays and other technologies. The wrong practices of mafias have been seen on camera several times at several places. These mafias have duplicates of all the water brands. So the quality of the liquid bottled in plastic cane has always been under the scanner.

BPA molecules are very harmful

The BPA molecules present in the plastic bottle can be easily mixed with the contained liquid and toxicates that liquid. Drinking that can easily create health setbacks. In case the temperature of the surroundings increases the BPA molecules become mobile and the probability of toxicating the liquid inside increases.

Use of plastic bottles increase carbon footprints

Many companies used to advocates, they use bio-degradable plastic, but it has been studied in the university of California, that out of seven plastic bottles six are not degraded right. In addition to manufacturing these plastic bottles, we have to use trees. So domestication of plastic bottles will not only create health issues for us but it will also export extra burden on neighbours and the future generations to come.

What could be the relevant alternate?

The practice of natural purifier at every door step could be a right alternative but it is really not so easy to be plotted. Carrying water in copper or steel container can also be a wise choice. Can we not imagine the premium quality drinking water supply at every corner? Jal Board needs to root out illegal practices from every level and proper accountability with transparency need to be established to win the trust of users and supply the premium quality liquid.

Use of reusable premium quality steel or copper coated bottle by water companies can also be the best alternative.
