Obama Administration Gone - Now Can We Take Out ISIS Without Political Correctness?

During the Obama Administration the military did make good use of drones, tomahawks, Special Forces, and sorties. Our military was often decisive when it hit the enemy. And, yet, we also had military lawyers and politically correct bureaucrats afraid of public opinion, careful not to have collateral damage and civilian casualties - too often, too careful in my view. No, I am not for total war, but when you have terrorist type adversaries who do not play by the Geneva Convention, there has to be a reality check on how you go about removing them from said planet.

There was an interesting piece of news "The Post" titled; "Obama's Last Day: Sends Bombers to Attack ISIS in Libya," published on Friday the 20th of January 2017, by Alice Greene (Staff Writer) that which noted the message put out by the Obama Administration after USAF B-2 bombers dropped 180+ smart munitions on ISIS training camps:

"The fighters training in these camps posed a security risk to Libya, to its neighbors, to our allies in Africa and Europe, and to the United States," and "The camps were located in a 'very rural area' and the isolation of the desert gave US surveillance aircraft a rare and clear view of the action. The Administration assures there were no women, children, or civilians in the area during the bombing."

Okay, so there was no collateral damage, no women or children killed, but simply by making this statement, next time there will be, because ISIS will put women and children in the camp as a human shield merely due to our weakness of political correctness - which they are constantly using against us. The Obama Administration tip-toed on the battlefield with our Islamic Terrorist enemies, and they saw us as weak, with no spine, they even said so amongst themselves and in their recruiting videos. In fact, they use this strategy to prevent us from attacking them.

Well, that strategy might not work with the Trump Administration, and soon ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups will soon know that. Our political correctness was sparing terrorists to live to fight another day, and killing members of our own team due to inaction at times it really mattered.

You cannot fight a war on evil with one-hand tied behind your back and only a fool would try. Luckily, Barack Obama (Teleprompter in Chief) is now out of office and Donald J. Trump is Commander in Chief. No more bluffing with "Redlines" drawn on toilet paper with crayons - now the terrorists have to answer to a new enemy, one who loves to win and is pretty good at it.
