6 tips : How To Improve Your Sleeping Posture

As we all know that a good sleeping posture is essential for us, the question is "How can we improve our sleeping posture?".

I did some research and experiments to find a way. And eventually I came up with some tips that proved really helpful to me.
Let's have a look:

1. Identify your best position:

When you go to bed at night, try to find the most comfortable position for sleeping throughout the night. A position in which you feel better than any other posture and you can also fall asleep easily.
My logic here is,

If we start our sleep in a good and comfortable position, we are more likely to stay this way throughout the night.

2. Don't you ever sleep on your stomach:

Yeah, you heard me. And if you do, your neck and back won't feel so good than you usually feel. After some research, I came to know that people who sleep on their stomach often find it difficult to change position when they are in sleep.

To improve your sleeping posture, you need first make sure your spine is well placed while you are sleeping

3. Side Sleeping posture is good for you:

Side sleeping can really be helpful to improve our sleeping posture. According to Sleep specialists, Sleeping on the left side is beneficial because that puts less pressure on our body organs.
Sleeping on the left side also improves our blood circulation.

4. If slide sleeping doesn't help you:

If you think side sleeping is not comfortable for you, you should try out a back sleeping posture. You need to put a pillow or two under your knees. This will allow your back to flatten slightly into the mattress.

5. Do a little exercise after waking up:

After a night's sleep, you need to do some exercise as your body stays inactive for a considerable amount of hours. So, when you wake up, try walking around for a bit and swing the shoulders in their sockets. You can also do some light stretches. If you do these things regularly, It will lessen the pain, stiffness and improve your posture during the day.

6. Good sleeping posture helps to overcome snoring:

45% of normal adults occasionally snore. So, it's a pretty common sleep disorder. But changing our sleep position can help us to get rid of this problem. Side sleeping is the solution for you. But sometimes snoring gets too much severe. If this is the case with you, it's better to consult a sleep expert or use CPAP Supplies etc. to get a better sleep at night.

Almost everybody knows that, good posture is important. But it cannot be achieved by just standing or sitting. The ligaments and muscles of our back heal and relax themselves while we sleep. So, in order to make sure our back stays fine and strong, good posture is essential for us.
